You asked and we heard you…The theme for the 2023 Home for the Holidays Parade is Holiday Classic Cinema!
We encourage you to play along with the theme, have fun, dress as movie characters, but our one request is that there be no Santa’s portrayed on your floats. We will have the one and only Santa at the end of the parade riding in a Horse Drawn Carriage. Help us keep the magic alive, and please don’t dress as Santa.
Additional Items as you plan for the 2023 Parade:
- We will assign you a location in the parade line-up, so in order to participate you must pre-register here!
- Vehicles and floats that will be in the parade will be asked to arrive at 12 p.m. the day of the parade
- Participants (walkers, float riders, dancers, etc.) will be asked to arrive at 1 p.m. the day of the parade
- No vehicles besides those that will be riding in the parade will be permitted into Mingo Park
- There will be a shuttle for parade participants beginning at 1 p.m. at the County Parking Lot at 145 N Union Street to ride into Mingo Park.
