What is GAWA?

The Georgia Agricultural Wellness Alliance is a newly formed coalition of farmers, nonprofits, colleges and universities, health organizations, state agencies, agricultural commissions/associations and agribusiness who work together toward a common goal of aligning efforts to improve well-being of farmers and farming communities in Georgia.

The Georgia Agricultural Wellness Alliance (GAWA) is a coalition of organizations, agencies, and individuals dedicated to addressing farm health, safety, and well-being in Georgia. The Alliance was established in response to the prevalence of mental health challenges experienced by farm families and communities.

Whether you are a farmer, farm family member, care provider, agency, agribusiness, faith leader, educator, official, or a community member wishing to support our farm families and rural communities, consider joining the Georgia Agriculture Wellness Alliance.
