Peter Hultberg, based in Sweden, is an integral part of Baldwin Technology’s legacy, tracing back more than three decades. He serves as its Chief Commercial Officer, a post he’s held since 2012 when Forsyth Partners acquired Baldwin and took it private.

Peter began his career as a mechanical engineer with Jimek AB, a small startup owned by Sweden’s largest publisher that innovated and built a spray dampening technology that revolutionized offset newspaper printing.

Through organic growth and acquisition, Peter led the development of the company’s distribution and sales network from a pure Scandinavian focus to a global network to achieve a dominating market share of spray dampening and cleaning system technology for newspaper applications.

Baldwin became a licensing partner for the innovative technology for the key Japan and North America markets at the beginning of the 1990s, and in 1995, Baldwin acquired the group. Peter came aboard and advanced though the ranks from Managing Director to Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing, before assuming his current post on the senior leadership team.

He earned his mechanical engineering degree from Polhem in Lund, Sweden.
