BorgWarner in Krakow, Poland

BorgWarner's aspiration for Krakow is to become a major technological center with 250 employees by 2026.

Products and solutions range from existing portfolio Power Electronics - BorgWarner, but go far beyond and will include NPIs as well as applications projects.

Today, our focus is OEM but through exploring commercial vehicle market Borg Warner is seeing no limitations to effectively contribute to electronics side of wide automotive industry.

Charging Forward

Charging Forward is our roadmap to achieve carbon neutrality in scope 1 and scope 2 emissions by 2035—and it’s a reflection of our enterprise-wide excitement about the potential and promise of electric mobility.

The three pillars at the heart of this initiative demonstrate our commitment to partnering with our customers through every step of their transition.

With fluency in both combustion- and electric-vehicle technologies, we will profitably scale EV, expand into eCV and optimize our combustion portfolio, leading the way for the automotive industry to an accessible, eMobility future.

Transitioning to Electric

As a global product leader with a proven track record of bringing successful mobility innovations to market, we’ve been preparing for the transition to electric for some time.

Working with the world’s foremost technologists, engineers and OEMs, we have advanced emissions-reducing and fuel-efficient combustion technology alongside cutting-edge eMobility solutions.

This organic growth and product evolution has been complemented by future-forward start-up investments and strategic acquisitions, such as the 2015 acquisition of Remy for rotating electrics, the 2020 DT acquisition for software and the AKASOL acquisition for battery packs and modules.
