Life as a Bond villain isn’t for everyone, but owning a lair like the Dar Bianca in Marrakech is one of its better perks. The 880 sq m property – which featured as a base of 007’s nemesis in new film Spectre – has gone on sale.

Architect Imaad Rahmouni, a protégé of Philippe Starck, conceived the 2006 contemporary home, built from glass, metal and concrete.

In the film, the villa appears on a mountaintop but it’s actually on lower ground. An artificial stream borders the three-bedroom residence to give the impression of a home floating on water.

The property, set on two hectares of parkland with views of the Atlas Mountains, also comes with a separate three-bedroom guest house and an outdoor swimming pool.

It’s available to buy for €4 million via French estate agent Emile Garcin.

All that’s missing is a purring white cat.
