Templeton Business Ethics Case Competition

Stetson University has a long-standing and well-established emphasis on values. We are committed to the integration of values into the lives of students, faculty, staff, and alumni. Both personal and social responsibility, in addition to being core values at Stetson, are foundational qualities for future business leaders. Through the Business Ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility Initiative, the university gives expression to this commitment as it promotes undergraduate ethics education, research, and programming that encourages ethical practice in business institutions.

The Initiative's objectives are to

  • Promote ethical business conduct
  • Develop ethical business leadership
  • Enrich undergraduate co-curricular educational opportunities
  • Promote faculty collaboration in the teaching of business ethics and corporate social responsibility

Templeton

Wake Forest Competition TeamThrough the generous support of Troy and Sissy Templeton, the Stetson Business Ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility Initiative sponsors the Templeton Case Competition each spring semester.

This competition, for undergraduate students from invited institutions, gives students an opportunity to sharpen their analytical critical thinking and their presentation skills as they develop an executive summary of their analysis of a specified case. Students construct a PowerPoint presentation and assemble on the Stetson campus each February to present the case to a distinguished panel of judges.
