Wanoga Snow Play Area Sno-Park

Area Status: Open

This increasingly favored sno-park provides access to both motorized and non-motorized dog-friendly trails, as well as opportunities for sledding and tubing. This is also a popular area for summer mountain biking.

Permit Info:	Sno-Park Permit required November 1 - April 30.
Restrictions:	Dogs must be on leash in sno-park and on the sledding hill. Snowmobiles are prohibited in the snow play area. Vehicles parked in the Wanoga Snow Play Area may not exceed 24’ in length. No trailer parking in the Wanoga Snow Play Area. The Wanoga Snow Play Area is intended as a sledding hill and is not designed for snowboarding, skiing or building jumps.

Mountain Biking

Access to many trails and roads south of the Cascade Lakes Highway.

Sledding/Tubing

Be sure to observe the established sledding safety guidelines and park according to posted directions. The lot is designed for diagonal parking in four rows (two rows each lobe of the lot) with a one-way center travel lane.

Warming Shelters

In the snow play area next to the restroom is a warming shelter that is wired for electricity.

XC Skiing/Snowshoeing

Access to over 180 miles of groomed snowmobile trails between Crescent Lake and Santiam Pass.

There is a warming shelter between Wanoga and Three Creek Sno-Park The shelter was built and is operated by the Central Oregon Snowbusters and Sisters Sno-Go-Fers snowmobile clubs.
