Come and discover the beauty of storytelling with spoken-word poet Amerah Saleh in a workshop where you are welcome to share or just watch and enjoy.

Delve into your own story through a series of activities and set challenges. The workshop is open to all, you can join in or just watch – you are also welcome to bring your own work to share with the group. Anything goes.

The 11am session is open to all ages.

The 1.30pm session is for ages 11 – 16.

About Amerah Saleh
Amerah Saleh is a spoken word artist born and bred in Birmingham. Her Muslim Yemeni roots give her space to get lost and found between identities. She is the co-founder of Verve Poetry Press and Board Member at Apples & Snake. Amerah has performed all around Europe and released her first collection, I Am Not From Here, this year. Her work touches on identity, womanhood, religion and the idea of belonging only to one place.
