Starter in all 13 games ... finished the season sixth in the nation in completion percentage (.696) to set a new school season record ... had six games with at least a .700 completion percentage ... ran for at least 50 yards in seven games ... ran for multiple TDs in four games (Bowling Green, ASU, USC, Cal) ... threw for multiple TDs in nine games ... ranked ninth nationally in points responsible for (238), 10th in points responsible for per game (18.3), 19th nationally in passing efficiency (157.4), 18th in passing TDs (27) and 20th in total offense (293.4) ... one of only two FBS QBs to finish the season with as many as 27 TD passes and 12 rushing TDs (also Bo Nix, Oregon) ... completed his career as UCLA's all-time leader in total offense (12,536-only UCLA player to ever record over 12,000 yards), completions (860), total touchdowns (116), touchdown passes (88) and passing yards (10,710) ... threw for four TDs and ran for 2 TDs vs. USC ... named honorable mention All-Pac-12 by the league coaches ... UCLA's offense rated as the highest scoring operation in the Pac-12 (36.5 points) ... ended the season No. 1 in the Pac-12 in passing efficiency (153.94), passing yards/completion (13.69), passing yards per attempt (8.51), points responsible for (182), total offense (274.36), total offense TDs (30) ... one of three Pac-12 players to register at least 3,000 yards of total offense (3,018) ... second in the Pac-12 with 21 passing TDs ... has moved into the top-5 at UCLA in career passing yards, career total offense, career completions, career TD passes, and career QB rushing yards ... Ran for two scores and threw for 349 yards and four more TDs in win at USC while completing his last 14 straight passes of the day ... racked up over 300 yards of total offense in four games against (Fresno State-345, Arizona State-330, Colorado-355, USC-395) ... Saw action in and started 5 games ... his pass efficiency rating of 156.29 was the highest by a Bruin quarterback starter since 2005 (Drew Olson) ... became first Bruin quarterback to rush for at least 100 yards (109) and throw for at least 300 yards (303) in a game (at Colorado) ... his .833 completion percentage (30-36 attempts) against USC was the highest by a Bruin QB with at least 30 passing attempts ... threw for a season-high 4 TDs in games at Colorado and versus USC ... ran for 306 yards on the season (5.6 yards per carry) and scored rushing TDs against Colorado, Cal and Arizona State ... named second-team All-Pac-12 by the league coaches.

2019 
Saw action as a starter in 11 games (not Oregon State) ... threw 21 touchdown passes to rank tied for 10th on the Bruin single-season list ... his 2,899 yards of total offense rate 10th on the school single-season list ... his 216 completions ranks ninth on the all-time school list ... against Washington State (Bruins came back from a 32-point third-quarter deficit), he threw for 507 yards and five touchdowns and ran for 57 yards and two more scores ... the 507 passing yards rank third on the school list ... his 564 yards of total offense in the game was a school record total ... his 431 yards of total offense at USC was the second-most ever by a Bruin vs. the Trojans and the 10th-most overall in school annals ... he joins Josh Rosen, Cade McNown and Brett Hundley as the only Bruin quarterbacks to have multiple 400-yard total offense games for their careers ... completed at least 20 passes in seven games ... had seven games with multiple touchdown passes ... ran for at least 30 yards in five games ... finished fourth in the Pac-12 in total offense/game (263.5) and fifth in the league in passing yards/game (245.5).

2018
Saw action in 10 games and took the first offensive snap at Oklahoma, Fresno State, at Colorado, Washington, at Cal, Arizona, at Oregon and versus Stanford ... completed 27 of 38 passes for a season-high 272 yards and two touchdowns against Washington ... completed 13 of 15 passes for an .866 completion percentage which was the third-highest mark by a Bruin quarterback in a game with at least 15 attempts since 1980 ... completed 16 of 26 passing attempts for 254 yards and a touchdown at Oklahoma ... saw his first collegiate action after coming off the bench against Cincinnati to complete 15 of 25 passes for 117 yards.

Four-star recruit according to 247 Sports and listed as the No. 66 player in the nation … ESPN.com’s four-star recruit and the No. 2 dual-threat quarterback prospect in the nation and No. 34 on the ESPN National 300 List … Rivals.com’s four-star prospect and the No. 2 dual-threat quarterback in the nation … No. 48 prospect on the Rivals 250 national list … in his senior year, he completed 176 of 256 passing attempts (.688) for 3,275 yards and 38 touchdowns with three interceptions … he also rushed for 426 yards and seven touchdowns … as a junior, he completed 21 of 31 passing attempts, threw three touchdown passes and ran for six scores … also caught 22 passes for 397 yards and eight touchdowns … selected to play in the Under Armour All-America Game.
