After appearing in Abby Jasmine‘s music video “On My Way” two months ago, Xanman is back with a brand new song, accopanied by rich visuals. The new track is a cut off the rising DMV rapper’s upcoming EP I’m A Bad Person, which is expected to release on March 20.

Clocking in at just under the two-minute mark, the music video begins with Xanman and his crew in a van parked outside a house that they plan to break into. And just as they rush out of the vehicle, the visuals cut to a daytime shot of the house, kicking off the video and the song. Produced by WhoisMike, the track is led by a lush arrangement of pan flute notes, vibrant synths and heavy bass drums. Xanman comes through with melodic vocals that blend seamlessly with the groove of the instrumentals. Notable lyrics include “Whole lotta paper, I feel like a printer” and “Brand new Cartier frames, now I look like a hipster,” while the line “Man, I’m too different, too different for you” is repeated in the hook, offering a slight picture of what the young rapper wrote the song about.
