Hall Center for Law & Health

With more than 30 health law-related course offerings, at the Hall Center for Law & Health you'll get the benefit of a specialized legal education at an excellent law school situated in a city within a region known for its life sciences and health care industries.

The William S. and Christine S. Hall Center for Law and Health was established in 1987 to expand the curriculum and teaching of health law and provide opportunities for students. Here, you can join with like-minded students through the Health Law Society, further your experiential education through a health law externship and establish your research credentials by becoming a part of the Indiana Health Law Review.

The Certificate in Health Law will serve as a gateway for J.D. students wishing to work in the robust and expanding fields of health law and policy. Graduation with the Health Law Certificate will signal potential employers and collaborators that you have particular knowledge, experience, and skills in various aspects of health care law and policy, and have engaged in a rigorous course of specialized study providing a critical foundation for practice.

You could also choose to pursue one of the many dual degrees in a health-related field, or our LL.M. in Health Law, Policy, and Bioethics.

If you are new to healthcare or health law and policy the resources are rich and varied. We have put together a resource guide that contains recommended readings and some useful videos, podcasts, and websites.

Focus your legal studies in Health Law at IU McKinney's renowned Hall Center for Law & Health.
