The two candidates running for mayor of Greenville and the two candidates vying for the lone City Council seat up for grabs this election cycle participated in a debate Monday night hosted by The Post and Courier.

Longtime mayor Knox White is running against former City Councilwoman Michelle Shain. In the City Council race, incumbent Dorothy Dowe faces challenger Randall Fowler.

Candidates answered questions about affordable housing, development in the city and more.
