Fly-in

Now that the Congressional office buildings have reopened, ACI staff will lead small groups of ACI members to meetings with U.S. House and Senate offices to advance cleaning product ingredient communication legislation, a key ACI strategic priority.

Due to overwhelming demand, we are asking companies to limit their participation to 2 employees per company. Please reach out to Doug Troutman with questions or concerns.

Please note: The ACI committee meetings are open to ACI Members and invited guests only. ACI Members are any employee of an ACI Member Company. Not sure if your company is a member? Click here to check.

Speaking Topic: Keeping Your Green Claims Clean

While the FTC’s request for comments on the Green Guides made the FTC a priority for many this year, it’s not only the FTC that is paying attention to what companies are saying about the environmental benefits of their products -- state governments, the plaintiffs’ bar, and competitors are all monitoring these types of claims. This presentation will discuss common green claims that are used by cleaning product companies, potential risks associated with these claims, and how to best mitigate risk in promoting products with green claims in this evolving regulatory and litigation landscape
