The Irving-Las Colinas Olympic Day Committee is comprised of over a dozen local and regional organizations, all focused on advancing our community and delivering exceptional opportunities. Under the leadership of the U.S.-Mexico Cultural & Educational Foundation, the Committee exemplifies the strengths of public-private partnership, all leveraging their talents and abilities to bring Olympic Day to North Texas.

U.S.-Mexico Cultural & Educational Foundation The United States-Mexico Cultural and Educational Foundation (USMCEF) was founded on April 4, 1996 in Washington, D.C. as a 501 c.3. non-profit organization. It serves as the educational arm of the United States-Mexico Chamber of Commerce. Since its inception, the Foundation has been involved in numerous activities such as the Buen Vecino Internship Program, Border Energy Forums, Future Leaders of Irving junior leadership program, the Good Neighbor Awards international gala, the Fiesta Tecaliso concert, art exhibits, environmental initiatives, theatre presentations and the development and implementation of government grants The mission of the USMCEF is to provide activities that promote an enhanced knowledge and understanding of the educational and cultural differences between the two countries in order to establish closer and stronger ties. |

Dallas County Utility and Reclamation District
Dallas County Utility and Reclamation District (DCURD) is a political subdivision of the State of Texas created by a 1983 special act of the Texas Legislature that became effective on February 1, 1984. It is the successor to Dallas County Municipal Utility District No. 1, which was created by the Texas Water Commission (now known as the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality) in 1972. The District was created to construct and operate certain infrastructure and amenity elements within the Las Colinas development in Irving, Texas. |

Dallas College North Lake Campus
North Lake College is a two-year public community college serving Irving, Texas and northern Dallas County. North Lake opened in the fall of 1977, becoming the sixth of seven colleges in the Dallas County Community College District. The college's central campus sits on 276 acres in the Las Colinas area of Irving, at 5001 N. MacArthur Boulevard. In addition, North Lake operates three community campuses: North Campus in Coppell, South Campus in South Irving, and West Campus adjacent to DFW Airport. The college’s signature programs include logistics, the sciences, construction technology, and our unique pairing of arts and technology. |
Greater Dallas Veterans Foundation
We are a proud all volunteer, nonprofit organization focused on recognizing and supporting veterans of the armed forces of the United States and introducing young people to the meaning and cost of freedom. The Greater Dallas Veterans Foundation has proudly supported the Greater Dallas Veterans Day Parade (GDVDP) since 1998. The GDVDP is the largest in Texas and one of the largest in the nation, consisting of more than 5,000 participants. |

Irving Police Athletic League
The Irving Police Athletic League (PAL) was incorporated in 1992 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization by volunteer police officers and private citizens. The goal of the Irving PAL is to help "at-risk" kids develop self-esteem, discipline and mental courage through a structured program of physical activity and exposure to positive role models. The Irving PAL is available to boys and girls, ages 7-18. Programs include boxing, fitness, wrestling, soccer, basketball (summer) and the "Urban Outdoors" program which includes archery, camping, fishing, hunting, kayaking, mountain biking and rock climbing. |
