Sofía Curdumí Pendley, Ph.D. is a public health scientist whose research focuses on the impact of disasters on health, food security in humanitarian settings, and health equity. Dr. Pendley has many years of programmatic and research experience, focusing on monitoring and evaluating community health and public health emergency programs. She has consulted for the World Food Program, Catholic Relief Services, World Vision International, and others. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Pendley worked extensively in health communications and vaccine advocacy.
