Students usually complete the Communication Disorders (CMD) major as a four-year bachelor’s degree program. Students who wish to complete the major as part of a three-year accelerated 3+2 program must:

  • Declare the CMD major at the end of their freshman year. View Admissions Requirements.
  • Meet with their undergraduate advisor during the first semester of the freshman year in order to plan their program for completion of the Bachelor’s degree in CMD in three years.
  • Students pursuing an accelerated degree should be aware that in order to graduate in three years, they may need to complete some courses during the summer, winter, and/or late spring terms for additional tuition.
