Dual Degree Program Options for Computer Engineering Majors

Sacred Heart University’s dual degree programs provide a defined pathway for incoming freshmen to move seamlessly from an undergraduate to a graduate degree.

While some of our dual degree programs require specific undergraduate majors, others are open to almost all undergraduate disciplines. Apply to a dual degree program as an incoming freshman and you’ll have the opportunity to be admitted directly into the graduate program of your choice at the same time as your admission as an undergraduate student. Students are encouraged to reach out to your admissions counselor to discuss dual degree options.

What I love most about the Computer Engineering program at SHU is the community and all the passion that surrounds it. Both staff and students have been a crucial part of my experience so far, whether that be helping me with any questions I have, or giving me that extra push when things get hard. The small class sizes enhance my learning and encourage me to ask and answer questions. This experience so far has allowed me to immerse myself in what I learn, be open-minded, and overcome obstacles that might’ve held me back otherwise.

Going into my senior year, I have learned so much through the opportunities provided and gained a variety of skills from interactive projects done in the Idea lab. The professors are constantly working closely with the students to properly prepare them for their future careers, such as starting to build your resume during your freshman year. The supportive atmosphere provides personal growth and motivation bringing out the best in each student.
