Research & Sponsored Programs

Research & Sponsored Programs (RSP) partners with members of the SHU community in the pursuit and administration of funding for sponsored programs to expand knowledge, enhance teaching and service activities, direct innovative projects and research and institute meaningful and progressive change.

In support of this mission, Research & Sponsored Programs:

• Provides support and advisement through all phases of the grant application process along with post-award administration and compliance oversight.
• Supports the University’s goal to increase faculty engagement in the pursuit of sponsored project funding. 
• Provides guidance in identifying potential funding sources and grant writing and is responsible for reviewing and approving external funding applications for all grants, contracts and sub-contracts.
