Welcome to the Make a Difference Dash at ONE!
We are “kicking off” the Alltech ONE Conference, our annual flagship event, with a community 5K run/walk through beautiful downtown Lexington on Sunday, May 22, 2022 at 8:00 a.m.
Dr. Pearse Lyons, founder of Alltech, believed in living each day to the fullest and making a difference in the lives of others. An avid runner, Dr. Lyons also never missed an opportunity to lace up his shoes and outpace his friends. The Make a Difference Dash combines running and philanthropy while celebrating a life well-lived.
Proceeds from the 5K will go to the Pearse Lyons ACE Foundation, which serves our philanthropic activities in Kentucky and around the world.
We are excited to invite the community to the Make a Difference Dash at ONE as we celebrate coming together in person and making a difference, together!
RACE FEATURES:
- A unique course that has never been utilized for a 5K race
- The race begins and ends at the Historic Lexington Courthouse in beautiful downtown
- Commemorative t-shirts (not included with Virtual registration)
- Chip-timed race with awards for overall and age-group winners
- Team competition award prizes for the fastest and largest teams
- Teams of five or more SAVE $3 on registration
- Food, fun and great music
- Virtual registration is available
PACKET PICKUP: Packet pickup will be held on Saturday, May 21, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Central Bank Center in the Main Street lobby (403 West Vine Street, Lexington, KY 40507). Packets can be picked up by friends or family of those who are participating in the race

Pearse Lyons ACE Foundation
The late Dr. Pearse Lyons was an innovator, entrepreneur and philanthropist who believed in making a difference in the lives of others. In 1980, he founded Alltech to improve the health and well-being of Animals, Consumers and the Environment (ACE). Today, Dr. Lyons’ legacy lives on through the Pearse Lyons ACE foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit foundation that supports the philanthropic endeavors of Alltech and the Lyons family.

The Alltech ONE Conference will be held May 22 – 24, 2022, at the Central Bank Center. Thought leaders and changemakers from around the world will explore opportunities in agri-food, business and beyond.

Make a Difference Dash at ONE - 5K Race Route
Our unique and scenic downtown course has never been utilized for a 5K race! The race will start and finish on Short Street at the Historic Lexington Courthouse. The route includes Short Street, Midland Avenue and East Main Street in a double "out and back" configuration. We will have two hydration stations on the course serving water and SWORD Performance Hydration in 5-oz. cups. The total elevation for the 5K is 131 feet.

All in-person runners and walkers will receive a commemorative Make A Difference Dash at ONE T-shirt while supplies last. Shirts are unisex in sizes XS-2XL.
