Solve's Indigenous and Antiracist Innovators Summit 2022 is an engaging two-day, in-person event held June 16 - 17. The summit is open to the Solve Community, Indigenous community members, and antiracist leaders from across the country.

The Indigenous and Antiracist Innovators Summit is Solve’s flagship event for our Indigenous Communities Fellowship program and our Antiracist Technology in the US Challenge. We will convene, connect, and inspire Solve’s community—our Fellows, Solver teams, MIT faculty and staff, and leaders from our Member organizations—so that we can continue to uplift these innovators of excellence and reimagine Indigenous and antiracist futures for the United States.

As an attendee of the summit, you’ll have the opportunity to:

• Engage a growing community of Indigenous and Antiracist innovators: Dive into discussions with cross-sector leaders as we explore key opportunities to strengthen impact-focused ecosystems for Indigenous, Black, and Brown entrepreneurs. 

• Explore cutting-edge innovations: Connect directly with Solver teams to share strategic advice and new ideas. Through collaborative working groups and informal conversation, you’ll learn about their innovative solutions and where your own work might align.

• Create impactful partnerships: Expand your organization’s social and environmental impact by partnering with Solvers to scale their work.

Solve is an initiative of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) with a mission to solve world challenges. Solve is a marketplace for social impact innovation designed to support the scalable growth of community-based solutions.

At Solve, we understand that to disrupt institutionalized inequities in the US, we must support the tremendous work of Indigenous, Black, and Brown innovators across the country. Since 2018, Solve has run an Indigenous Fellowship program that has supported 28 Native American innovators from across the country that utilize traditional knowledge and technology to drive positive impact in their communities. In 2021 Solve launched the Antiracist Technology in the US Challenge, selecting 7 outstanding innovators working across industries to create an Antiracist society in the United States. These Solver cohorts are provided with a nine month program of support that includes seed funding, a comprehensive resource needs assessment, technical/business mentorship, and tailored connections to a network of companies, foundations, NGOs, and more.
