Chynna Baldwin
Manager, Campaigns and Field ProgramsChynna serves as Manager of Campaigns and Field Programs on the Voting Rights Project and works with national and state partners to coordinate Election Protection. She is an organizer, writer and activist from Youngstown, Ohio and is a proud Alumna of Kent State University. Previously, Chynna served as the Ohio Organizing Manager for All Voting is Local where she created campaigns around voter education and empowerment at HBCU’s, providing know your rights training and absentee ballots to people in jails and much more. She’s also served at a Cleveland Freedom School through the Children’s Defense Fund working to empower, educate and encourage undeserved youth through a civil rights lens. Creating community is always at the center of her work and believes voting rights is the foundation of democracy.
