Jackson Lake State Park has increased in popularity over the years with many user groups, including, but not limited to, boaters, hunters, anglers, campers, astrotourists, and wildlife observers. Anyone who enjoys the outdoors is sure to find a part of Jackson Lake State Park that they love.

In September 2020, Jackson Lake State Park became a Certified Dark-Sky Place with the International Dark-Sky Association. How you can join the dark-sky movement, visit darks​ky.org.

Camping

Jackson Lake is a premier camping location in northeastern Colorado.​

  • Reservations can be made the day you plan to arrive at the park or up to 6 months in advance.

Jackson Lake State Park operates the Shoreline Marina. It is open from May through September.
