Will Kava

Will Kava joined the Ole Miss Athletics department in 2015 and currently holds the title of Senior Associate Athletics Director for Compliance.
Kava serves as the lead rules interpretative contact at Ole Miss and oversees the Rebels' rules education program. He also coordinates internal and external educational efforts throughout the department.
He manages football gameday compliance responsibilities, including comp admissions check-in process, premium area monitoring, pre-game and post-game monitoring and football recruiting monitoring.
During his time at Ole Miss, Kava has served as assistant director for compliance, associate director for compliance and assistant AD for compliance before moving to his new position.
Kava came to Oxford from the University of Washington, where he served in the Huskies' compliance department for two years. At Washington, Kava coordinated NCAA initial eligibility (including core course evaluations), admissions process, and certification of prospective student-athletes for men’s football, women’s gymnastics, women’s soccer, and women’s volleyball.
He got his professional career started with internship positions at San Diego State and Cal State San Marcos. in 2011 and 2012 respectfully.
A 2008 graduate of the University of Washington with a bachelor's degree in sociology, Kava also a juris doctorate with a certificate in sports law and policy from the Thomas Jefferson School of Law.
