“I am so happy and proud about our solar system. I was always worried about how much noise the generator makes, and that we don't have enough money to buy gasoline. When it gets dark now, and we want to cook, work, or the children need to learn for school, we just turn on the light and we can see what’s in the dark – without any noise. We used to make artisanal handicrafts to buy gasoline from the proceeds. Now we can fulfill other needs. For example, if someone is sick we can pay to fly the patient out on a plane, or we can use the diesel saved to take the patient in the canoe to see a doctor. Thank you so much for your support!”

“Ich bin so glücklich und stolz über unser Solarsystem. Ich habe mir immer Sorgen darüber gemacht wieviel Lärm der Dieselgenerator macht und das wir nicht genügend Geld haben um Diesel zu kaufen. Wenn es jetzt dunkel wird und wir kochen, arbeiten möchten oder die Kindern für die Schule lernen müssen, machen wir einfach das Licht an und können sehen was im Dunkeln ist – ohne irgendeinen Lärm. Wir haben unser Kunsthandwerk verkauft um von dem Gewinn Diesel kaufen zu können. Jetzt können wir andere Bedürfnisse erfüllen. Zum Beispiel wenn jemand krank ist können wir den Patienten ausfliegen oder das Diesel für das Kanu verwenden, damit er einen Doktor sehen kann.”
