Alexandra Adlawan was born and raised in Long Beach, California. From a very young age, Alexandra loved to draw characters and write stories. Having been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Alexandra’s gift has resulted in “Wild Imagination”. The first in the Children’s book series, “The Adventures of Maddie And Albert”, written and illustrated by Alexandra Adlawan. Alexandra loves books of all kinds and would love to live in a library or bookstore, where she feels the energy from the unlimited imagination within the bindings of each book. Alexandra’s books will encourage the search for adventure within young people and guide them into embracing the differences in others. In “Wild Imagination,” Maddie and Albert are the central characters in the story, and although they are opposites, they find a way to form a bond. Albert is shy, quiet and loves to read. Maddie, on the other hand, is boisterous and full of energy. When Maddie and Albert spark a friendship, they journey through a series of adventures spanning space, the open seas, and an African safari, to name a few. Our differences are a positive from which we can all learn from each other.
