Smarter Additives with Smarter Designs

From blood bags to paints, our programmable Xheme Multifunctional Additive allows for a new generation of non-toxic plastics and coatings without compromise.

Our inaugural product

Xheme Multifunctional Additive

The Xheme Multifuntional Additive (XMA) is a programmable additive that offers four different protections: anti-oxidation, anti-UV, anti-corrosion, and anti-microbial. But, its fifth protection may be its most important — protecting the well-being of people and the planet. As a non-toxic additive with multiple functions, it protects the environment from a growing single-use additive ecological footprint and increases the recyclability of  plastics for reduced end-of-life plastic pollution.

What do blood, plastics, and paints have in common?

The Xheme Multifunctional Additive. XMA can be designed to meet the safety and performance needs of numerous types of plastics, films, and coatings.

Non-Toxic Blood Bags
Durable Coatings
Better Bioprocessing

We're changing the plastics & coatings paradigm.

Programmable Structure

XMA can be formulated in multiple ways to address challenges facing the plastics and protective coatings industries — everything from oxidation to photodegradation.

Open Innovation

We believe that sharing intellectual property with partners fuels innovation. We’re transforming additive discovery through collaborations with global industry leaders.

Safety & Sustainability

Protecting the health of people and the planet is at the core of Xheme’s mission. XMA has been designed to reduce the global reliance on single-use additives and end-of-life plastic pollution.
