Faculty, staff honored for excellence in advising
Each year, at the direction of the Office of the Provost, the Academic Advising Council selects honorees for the Nicholas Evans Awards for Advising Excellence in recognition of outstanding advising and mentoring provided by faculty and professional advisers at WVU. The 2024 award recipients are Amanda Baker, Kelli George, Tara Robbins and Mark Schraf.

WVU Dependent Education Scholarship deadline approaching
Employees with dependents interested in the fall 2024 application should apply regardless of being previously awarded, as a new application is required each academic year. The deadline is May 1.

The Plan Year 2025 Open Enrollment period for West Virginia University benefits-eligible faculty and staff is underway and will run through Wednesday, May 15. Open Enrollment is the only time of the year to add, drop or make changes to your benefits without a qualifying life event.
