Bronco Super Celebration adds a Nevada event to their schedule! This will be it's first annual. Join the So Cal Broncos pilgrimage to Super Cel Nevada! If you're on Facebook, Click Here to mark yourself as "Going" on the So Cal Broncos event page. Keep an eye on Bronco Driver's website for info on the event as they add it. It's still in their early stages as of this writing, and there's nothing on their website about it yet. I got the date and location from Tom, the owner.

That's big park right in the middle of Carson City. Not far from downtown.

I'll suggest this place as a must do for lunch or dinner should anyone go:

And those of you with little ones, this is an almost magical place for them:
Calling it a "Museum" isn't correct in the traditional sense of museums, but its really worth a visit. I've never seen anything like it, and wonder why. Their page doesn't really do the place justice.

I've wanted to check out the Warren Fire Engine Museum on Stewart next tot he fire station, but have yet to have the time to do so.

No visit to Carson City is complete without a stop here: https://www.carsonrailroadmuseum.org/

All of these places are not all that far from the park.

This sounds like fun. I've been trying to envision a trip to Buena Vista that could include enough off-roading to make the trip worthwhile, but Nevada is much more approachable distance-wise and provides a number of off-roading opportunities nearby.

I would guess you'd just take 395 up? There might be a number of folks in the Central Valley willing to go, although 99 would be a more direct route for us 🤔

Yeah we'll be heading up 395 all the way. If I was coming from the Central Valley I'd probably take 50 across. Or one of the other scenic passes if I had the time.

I'd take either Sherman or Walker Pass to get to 395 if starting from Porterville or anywhere further South of there. Sherman being the more "rustic" of those options.

Too bad CA168 doesn't go all of the way thru as originally planned.....

What goes on at the Super Celebration? So far from you tube, it looks like a big "show & tell" are there any events or wheeling going on? I already made reservation for a cheap room in Carson, $56/night.

Their website says more info on July 4th ... but still nothing.
