Kentwood Farmers Market "Charcuterie Challenge" Competitor Application Form
The Kentwood Farmers Market is seeking UP TO FIVE individuals to compete in the second annual Kentwood Farmers Market Showdown! The Showdown will take place on Thursday, August 31 at the Kentwood Farmers Market. (4900 Breton Rd SE, Kentwood MI 49512)

Competitors will be given $25 and 30 minutes to shop the Kentwood Farmers Market and assemble a charcuterie board.

HOW THE EVENT WILL WORK:
- On Thursday, August 31, at 5pm, up to five participants will have a friendly showdown at the Kentwood Farmers Market to assemble charcuterie boards using only items purchased at the market.

- Participants will each receive $25 cash and 30 minutes to shop the Kentwood Farmers Market and assemble their charcuterie board.  

- Participants will all be supplied with a charcuterie board, two small bowls, a cutting board, and a knife.

- All food items used must have been purchased at the market using the $25 cash provided.

- Participants may begin shopping at 5pm and must be completely finished with their board at 5:30pm.

- The charcuterie boards will be on display at the Kentwood Farmers Market on August 25th from 5:30 - 7:30pm and market attendees can view and vote for their favorite board. (There will be no eating from the boards during this time.)

- The recommended criteria for judging will be: Variety of ingredients used, visual appeal of the board, and creativity.

- The fan favorite will win ultimate bragging rights (!!!) plus a Kentwood Farmers Market prize package with fun items!
