Campus Master Plan

2020-2050

In June of 2020, the Sheridan Board of Governors approved a new Campus Master Plan that conveys the goals and aspirations for how Sheridan’s campuses should evolve over the long term. The Plan establishes the visions, principles and framework or strategy for growth on each campus.

Our Vision

Sheridan is an institution with three distinct campuses, each with a unique pathway for growth. As set out in the Sheridan Strategic Plan 2024, the Master Plan is intended to guide long-term growth and change at the institution.

The Master Plan aims to reflect Sheridan's aspirations for the physical evolution of its campuses.

The Process

A robust consultation process has guided the Master Plan goals, vision and framework.

The Sheridan Campus Master Plan involved extensive consultation with the campus community, including students, faculty, staff and alumni. From one-on-one interviews, to Ideas Workshops, Open Houses and online Campus Compass surveys, this broad-based consultation process was essential to develop a Master Plan rooted in the Sheridan community's vision for the future.

The Planning Team

Urban Strategies

Sheridan engaged a multi-disciplinary consulting team, led by Urban Strategies Inc., to direct the Campus Master Plan and related engagement process. Urban Strategies has led some of the most significant campus master plans in southern Ontario, including the University of Guelph and Brock University, as well as directed campus plans for Cornell University, Princeton University, and Simon Fraser University.
