2023 State Senate District 1 Special Election

Planned Parenthood Votes! Rhode Island Political Action Committee (PPV!RI PAC) is proud to endorse Jacob Bissaillon for State Senate District 1 in the November 7 Special Election.  Jake has been a trusted champion for reproductive health and rights in his capacity as a senior senate staffer, most recently as Chief of Staff to the Senate President. We can count on Jake to continue to put issues impacting Planned Parenthood patients in the forefront.  As politicians across the country continue to attack abortion and strip away people's most fundamental freedoms, it is critical we elect champions who will defend Planned Parenthood patients and protect our rights, our health, and our values.

2022 Election Wins

The results of the 2022 midterm elections are a win for abortion rights in the Ocean State!

With 60 Planned Parenthood Votes! Rhode Island PAC-endorsed candidates elected, these victories are a critical step towards finally passing the Equality in Abortion Coverage Act (EACA) next year to eliminate existing abortion bans and add coverage for abortion in Rhode Island’s Medicaid program.

Congratulations to the 2022 PPV!RI PAC-Endorsed General Election Winners:
