In her 12 years in the royal spotlight, Kate, the Princess of Wales, has rarely strayed from her signature beauty look: a soft, smoky eye, light contour on her chiseled cheekbones, and a strong brow – the same look she wore as a blushing bride on her wedding day to Prince William, over a decade ago. And while we don’t often get an insight into her personal beauty routine, there are whispers from well-placed sources of some of the different products she swears by. Take a closer look at some of the Princess’s favourites below.

Clarins Natural Lip Perfector

The eagle-eyed will have noticed the Princess holding Clarins’s Natural Lip Perfector in her hand at Wimbledon one year. A lightweight, ultra natural tinted lip balm, it promises nourished and plump lips while imparting a veil of colour, perfect for reapplying throughout the day.

Trilogy Rosehip Oil

One of the most widely reported Kate-approved products is Trilogy’s Rosehip Oil, which she is said to have used throughout each of her pregnancies. For good reason: it is totally organic and has been clinically proven to soften the appearance of fine lines while improving skin’s moisture levels, thanks to the array of omegas, fatty acids and antioxidants within. Carole Middleton – Kate’s mum – is said to be a fan, too.

Biotulin Supreme Skin Gel

What do the likes of Michelle Obama and the Princess of Wales chat about when they meet? Not just world affairs, if one story from Obama’s make-up artist, Carl Ray, is anything to go by. Rumour has it Kate recommended Biotulin’s Supreme Skin Gel to Michelle, who now uses it too. Apparently, it is better than Botox.

Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner in Black Ink

Faithful to a soft, dark eyeliner on her upper lash line, Kate is said to have used Bobbi Brown products on her wedding day, with this gel eyeliner being one of her favourite products. It is super easy to use with an angular, fine-tipped brush, can be applied with precision or smudged for a softer look, and it genuinely does stay put all day. Perfect for those royal engagements.

Jo Malone Orange Blossom

Kate scented Westminster Abbey with Jo Malone’s Orange Blossom candles on her wedding day, and she also enjoys the cologne itself. Notes of clementine flower, orange blossom and waterlily make for an optimistic, summery scent.

Beuti Skincare Beauty Sleep Elixir

The founder of Beuti Skincare, Leila Aalam, previously let slip that both the Princess of Wales and Duchess of Sussex use this plant oil-based face oil. It contains everything from anti-inflammatory sea whip to sandalwood nut kernel oil to help support collagen production, as well as an array of omegas. As its name promises, it is beauty sleep in a bottle.

Essie Nail Polish in Allure

Turns out Kate is also a fan of an Essie nail polish, just like the rest of us. Preferring a neat manicure, she wore Essie’s ultra sheer white colour, Allure, on her wedding day.
