Podcasts Reveal Stories From Road Warriors

Lola.com, a solution to manage, book and report on business travel, launched three podcasts to educate listeners on a variety of topics in the past year. All three podcasts launched across six platforms: iTunes, Stitcher, Spotify, Google Play, Blubrry and Overcast. Lola.com uses the Podbean podcasting platform for hosting and analytics to capture downloads.

The Road Warrior Radio is hosted by Ryan Ball, VP of Sales at Lola.com. The series was created for sales execs, entrepreneurs and project managers who spend a good chunk of time hustling on the road. Guests have included Harvard professors, Emmy-award winning directors and serial founders. To date, the episodes feature conversations with other road warriors, providing tips for staying productive while away from the office.

Lola.com CMO Jeanne Hopkins launched her Table Fries Podcast in March 2019. The series highlights the diverse group of women at Lola.com who are engineers, product managers, service managers, sales leaders and marketing folks, and make up a team of female powerhouses. They share their unique backgrounds, experiences, quirky hobbies and the winding paths of their careers.

In Netflix-style binge fashion, Lola.com released Season 1 (six episodes) of a new podcast with Host and CEO of Lola.com, Mike Volpe, in May 2019. The Agile Operations Podcast is now more than 20 episodes strong. Volpe rallied some of the top names in business as they shared their “outside of the box” stories and perspectives.

Podcasts are popular in the consumer world, but don’t overlook their potential to engage B2B audiences.
