Macy’s Drag Brunch

Macy’s is hosting their wildly popular drag brunch in the Walnut Room select weekends in June. Enjoy delicious cocktails like their Not So Old Fashioned, along with live performances making for a booze-tastic weekend. View some prideful projections 

As part of an annual celebration, ART on THE MART's Pride projection returns this June with a nightly program of bold, bright colors and messages of inclusivity. Our 2023 projection begins on June 1 and will continue throughout the month until June 28. Projections will start at 8:30 p.m. from June 1-7, and then from 9:00 p.m. CT from June 8 onwards. Projections are best viewed on The Chicago Riverwalk Jetty between Wells and Franklin Street. Find more information here

Embrace queer literature

The American Writers Museum has launched its new Writing Queer tour that takes visitors through the entire museum, using queer authors as a map through the exhibits. Highlighted authors include Margaret Wise Brown, Maurice Sendak, James Baldwin, and many more select LGBTQ+ writers who used their sexuality and gender identity as inspiration for their work. This complimentary 3 p.m. tour is included with museum admission and runs through July 30. More information is available here

Snap a pic on State Street

For the second year in a row, Chicago Loop Alliance has adorned the iconic State Street with flags to commemorate Pride Month. The flags will be on display all of June, so while you're walking down State, be sure to stop and admire the flags, and maybe even snap a pic or two! Tag us by using #BackInTheLoop.

Pride in the Park Chicago

Come together June 23-24 for a two-day music festival dedicated to equality, diversity, and fun in Grant Park. Pride in the Park donates to The Center on Halsted and offers free tickets to ensure LGBTQ+ youth can convey their pride openly and safely. Tickets are on sale now.
