Subcommittee to Hold Hearing on Securing Shipping Against Threats in the Red Sea

Washington, D.C. – Coast Guard and Maritime Transportation Subcommittee Chairman Daniel Webster (R-FL) announced that the Subcommittee will hold a hearing focused on evaluating emerging challenges to U.S. and global shipping efforts in the Red Sea due to increased geopolitical threats in the region. The hearing will be held at 10:00 a.m. ET on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, in 2167 Rayburn House Office Building.
