North Wales has no shortage of luxury properties - there are million pound pads scattered across the region. But some areas have a higher concentration of seven figure homes than others.

Over the course of 2022, five properties in North Wales sold for more than £1,500,000. Two of them were in Trearddur Bay, another two were on the Llŷn Peninsula and the fifth was in Barmouth.

The most expensive house sold in Wales last year was Shirecombe on Bednrick Drive in Southgate, Swansea. The property sold for a staggering £2,500,000.

The second most expensive house sold in the country last year was a property called Gwyndy on Lon Penrhyn Garw in Trearddur Bay. It went for £2,450,000 last September, making it the most expensive house sold in North Wales in 2022.

  6. £1,700,000 - 20A Eastcliff in Pennard, Swansea sold on Febraury 24, 2022.
  7. £1,675,000 - 3 Llandennis Avenue, Cardiff, sold on September 30, 2022.
  8. £1,650,000 - 71 Cardiff Road in Llandaff, Cardiff sold on June 29, 2022.
  9. £1,600,000 - Cerrig Gleision in Nefyn, Gwynedd sold on October 27, 2022.
  10. £1,575,000 25 Palace Road in Cardiff sold on October 5, 2022.
