Madison Performing Arts Foundation brings classical music and all genres of musical performances to the greater Madison, Jefferson County, and Trimble County. Enjoy performances by nationally known artists, as well as professional career musicians with ties to the Madison area.

Yvonne Davis & Friends – “Playing the 88 at 88!”

Friends who include Brook Reindollar, Rick Bennett, Tim Beitzel, & Steve Pullias will guarantee a “packed house”; our community still talks about the stunning performances this ensemble gave featuring music by Gershwin and Ellington. This concert, “All About Love”, will showcase standards popular throughout the years.

A native of Cape Town, South Africa, Sarita Uranovsky has enjoyed an exceptionally active and diverse career as soloist, recitalist, chamber musician, orchestral musician and teacher across the globe.

Hisako Hiratsuka is a graduate of the Tokyo University of Arts and Music. She was a very active piano teacher in Japan prior to coming to the United States in 1989. She enjoys a fine reputation as a chamber music player and accompanist.

Commonwealth Brass Band

Established in 1989 and conducted by Jerry Amend, this ensemble from New Albany, IN plays the unique instruments found in the British brass bands. This program will be dedicated to the memory of Mark Johnson, trumpet player and educator extraordinaire.

Kirill Gliadkovsky Concert Pianist

We are looking forward to Kirill's return to Madison! Mr. Gliadkovsky's performances have been met with great enthusiasm by both audiences and music critics in Europe, Russia and North America. Josef Woodard, a critic at the Los Angeles Times, wrote: "...the intensity and a nicely honed musicality left the audience stunned...enthralling...all in all, a gripping and masterful performance".

Isaac “Spike" Boone (saxophone) with Nathan Canfield (piano)

Isaac (Spike) is a Chicago-based saxophonist, chamber musician, and soprano saxophonist of Masso Quartet hailing from Hanover, Indiana. He is a senior pursuing degrees in performance and music education at Northwestern University. He recently won 1st prize in the Vandoren Emerging Artist Competition.

An immersive performance of Johann Sebastian Bach’s “Coffee Cantata,” complete with coffee and pairings, with a first course of additional works by Bach and Georg Philipp Telemann performed on historical instruments.
