Ep 26: Healing through the Heart of the Inner Child

Ep 26: Healing through the Heart of the Inner Child

Have you ever wondered what it means to be doing ‘inner-child work?’

Today we dive in to understand who the inner child is, how she is speaking to us & what she is telling us. We learn how to listen, respond & connect with her in a way that builds more trust within ourselves & in our relationships.

As we integrate inner child healing practices into our lives, we can often times experience more peace, joy, wonder & overall sense of calmness in our nervous system.

If this is a new practice for you, we encourage you to find a professional container that feels best for you — someone to guide you through these practices in a safe, supportive setting.

In this episode we go on a journey to learn how to:

Listen for cues to notice when the inner child is speaking to us
Connect with her & build trust by showing up supportively & consistently for her
Explore the correlation between coping mechanisms & our childhood
Ignite the inner child through PLAY

Bailey tells her story of coming across inner child work for the first time & shares a vulnerable story about the impact it’s had on her life, as well as many others' lives through her work spreading the practices in her 1 on 1 work & group coaching programs.

We wanted to include a free guided meditation here for anyone who is interested in connecting with their inner child.

✨ CLICK HERE: INNER CHILD MEDITATION LINK ✨

Please partake in this meditation at your own discretion. If you are not feeling grounded or safe, please work gently with this meditation & this work. I invite you to find a container where someone can hold you through this process because things may come up. It's powerful to receive & ask for support.

    You are doing great.

    Keep exploring.

    Keep loving.

    & keep playing.

Ep 24: Exploring the Inner Workings of Intuition

Ep 24: Exploring the Inner Workings of Intuition

In this episode, we DIVE IN on intuition.

We unpack what intuition really is, why we shut it down & how to start building the muscle to listen & TRUST our intuition to guide our every decision.

We discuss the ways that we are taught to shut down our intuition from a very young age & highlight ways to shift the narrative moving forward for your little ones so that they learn they have the answers inside of them.

We dive into the dangers of not listening to our intuition & we explore the reasons why it’s so important for us to learn how to build the muscle of our intuition. We discuss tools that help us build this muscle.

Our intention is for you to walk away from this podcast with a better understanding of your own relationships to your intuition & how you access it. We hope that you feel enlivened by this & open to sharing your perspective around how you access your own intuition! It’s different for all of us & there is no “right” way to do it.

Find us on Instagram at @wellwellpodcast & let us know how you access your intuition! We’d love to hear from you! ;)

Ep 23: Friendships, Seasonal Introspection, & Connection

Ep 23: Friendships, Seasonal Introspection, & Connection

In this episode, we discuss how to cultivate friendships as an adult - the fears that may go into making new friends & how to overcome them by being ourselves, staying open & trusting in the magical powers of quantum physics (also known as – the law of attraction.)

We discuss the wavy line of balance between too much hibernation & over socialization.

We distinguish the difference between time spent alone checking out in avoidant patterns vs. creating quality time with ourselves where we are doing activities that really ignite our spirit.

We talk about releasing shame when we do go into those times of more avoidant patterns with ourselves – checking out through food, tv, mindless scrolling & so on & so forth..

And we discuss how to open ourselves to having more compassion for ourselves & our process. Kelli shares her story of what it’s been like finding friends in a newly sober lifestyle in her new city of London & Bailey talks about her journey moving from a drinking lifestyle to completely changing her lifestyle to align with her internal growth. We discuss the deaths & rebirths that come up along this ever-changing, ever-evolving & expansive journey into really knowing ourselves.

We discuss prioritizing our spiritual, mental, & physical health by getting into alignment in the mornings before we go out into the world.

We talk about the importance of filling our own cup first, making new friends as an adult & disconnecting from the social world around us when we need to take time out for ourselves. We talk about how to create quality time with ourselves over time spent checking out or in avoidant patterns. We also talk about how to release any shame around those kinds of patterns.

We explore the parts of ourselves that want to go inward & retreat from socialization and also dive into the parts of ourselves that are craving connection more than ever before. We talk about ways to cultivate connection in our lives during a time when it may not be the most obvious thing. We explore new ways of finding connections & creating friendships in our lives. And then for those of us who are feeling like we need to tune out of the social noise in our world, we discuss what that can look like & how to start tuning down the social engagements to relax into the hibernations of winter.
