Ash (Bruce Campbell) and his girlfriend Linda (Denise Bixler) go out to a cabin in the woods. They see the cabin was recently inhabited by an archeologist who discovered a book that can raise the dead. Of course, Ash and Linda play the tape uttering an incantation that wakes up evil spirits that like to possess people. Meanwhile, the archeologist’s daughter (Sarah Uriarte Berry) and others are headed up to read the incantation that can get rid of the evil spirits. The battle against evil begins.
