From historic recordings that kickstarted Elvis’ career at Sun to the soulful sounds of American Sound, Stax, and his intimate sessions in the Jungle Room at Graceland, take a journey through some of Elvis’ most beloved music. Hosted by Andy Childs, alongside vocalists Terry Mike Jeffrey and Pat Dunn, this concert will blend live music with stories and laughter. Joining them will be the musicians and vocalists who were part of these legendary recording sessions to share their memories and insights into making music with the king. Scheduled to appear are from American Sound drummer Gene Chrisman and vocalist Donna (Rhodes) Morris; and from the Jungle Room Sessions, Larry Strickland; with more guests to be announced as they are confirmed.

Hosted by Tom Brown, Conversations on Elvis offers an intimate and heartfelt celebration of Elvis’ life with friends, co-stars, musicians, singers, and more sharing their cherished memories and stories. Confirmed segments include Linda Thompson, along with her brother Sam Thompson, who will share their favorite family memories of spending time with Elvis, as well as each of their personal remembrances; Shirley Dieu, Joe Esposito’s girlfriend and Elvis’ friend from 1974-1977; Jerome Stump Monroe, drummer for the Sweet Inspirations who opened nearly every Elvis show from 1969-1977; Larry Geller, Elvis' hairstylist and spiritual advisor; with more guest announcements coming soon. CANDLELIGHT VIGIL
8:30 pm. Gates of Graceland.
The annual Candlelight Vigil is the cornerstone event for Elvis Week each year and draws thousands of fans to the gates of Graceland on the eve of Elvis Presley's passing. After an opening ceremony at the gates of Graceland, fans are invited to walk up the driveway to Elvis' gravesite and back down carrying a candle in quiet remembrance. Gates remain open until all who wish to participate in the procession have done so, which typically takes until the early morning hours of August 16, the anniversary of Elvis' passing. The Candlelight Vigil will be open for all to attend. No special passes or wristbands are required to participate. All guests will be required to pass through a security checkpoint. Read our know before you go info for the Candlelight Vigil. For fans who cannot attend in person, a free livestream of the ceremony will be available to watch online.

CANDLELIGHT VIGIL CONCERT

After your procession through Meditation Garden as part of the Candlelight Vigil process, immerse yourself in an intimate musical experience at Graceland’s Chapel in the Woods. An after-hours experience with special guest Jerry Schilling who first met Elvis in 1954 and developed a friendship that lasted a lifetime. Enjoy a guided tour of Graceland Mansion by VP of Graceland Archives and Exhibits Angie Marchese, followed by a very special Q&A session with Jerry inside Elvis’ Racquetball Building, as he answers your questions and shares some favorite stories and memories of Graceland. The experience also includes a photo and autograph op with Jerry Schilling at Graceland Mansion. The Elvis Week TCB Pass returns for Elvis Week 2024 for $38. The TCB Pass provides incredible value to help you make the most of your week. With the TCB Pass, you receive unlimited access to the Music Pavilion (more details below), unlimited access to Elvis Presley’s Memphis on 8/9 – 8/17, plus free parking in Graceland’s Visitor Parking Lot every day after 5pm. One pass covers you for the duration of Elvis Week. This pass is only available to purchase at the Graceland Ticket Office.

ELVIS WEEK MUSIC PAVILION

The Graceland Exhibition Center will once again be home to the Elvis Week Music Pavilion. The indoor, air-conditioned space is home to continuous live entertainment, and provides a comfortable area for fans to recharge and reconnect. Food and beverage options are also available. The building is conveniently located near Graceland’s Visitor Parking Lot and is easily accessible on foot or free shuttle. Access to this space is available with our Elvis Week TCB Pass for $38.00 and will provide unlimited access to the Music Pavilion (seating on a first-come/first-served basis), unlimited access to Elvis Presley’s Memphis, plus free parking in Graceland’s Visitor Parking Lot every day after 5pm. One pass covers you for the duration of Elvis Week. The TCB Pass is only available for purchase at the Graceland Ticket Office.

FREE MORNING AND EVENING WALK-UP TIMES TO THE MEDITATION GARDEN
Throughout the year there is a period for free-admission walk-up visits to the Meditation Garden at Graceland. Elvis Week morning walk-ups will be from 7:30 am – 8:30 am on August 9-17. Morning walk-ups may not be available on August 16 due to the Candlelight Vigil. For morning walk-ups, guests must exit the mansion grounds before Graceland tours begin. Elvis Week evening walk-ups will be from 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm on August 11, 13, 14, 16, & 17. Evening walk-ups will not be available on the other nights due to evening events at Graceland Mansion. Meditation Garden walk-up times subject to change. 

GRACELAND TOURS
Available daily from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm. Throughout Elvis Week 2024, fans touring Graceland will be treated to special displays and artifacts in the mansion. More to be announced. Visit the Graceland Ticket Office or buy online in advance.
