The Virginia Tech Police Department hosts many free programs throughout the year:
The Virginia Tech Police Department Student Police Academy is a free program offered each fall and spring semester, and it is an inside look at the duties of law enforcement.
VTPD hosts a Faculty/Staff Police Academy each summer. Click here for more information.
The Virginia Tech Police Department, in collaboration with the One Love Foundation, offers multiple programs each year to raise awareness about the warning signs of abuse and activate communities to work to change the statistics about relationship violence.

The Rape Aggression Defense System (R.A.D. for Women) is a program offered to female students and employees at Virginia Tech. The Resisting Aggression with Defense System (R.A.D. for Men) is a program offered to male students and employees at Virginia Tech.
