3	Italy	DE	Italy's taxes must be paid alwasy and only with a module called "F24" that include the details of what is being paid. Being something used only in Italy, a foreign bank it's unlikely to offer its customer the payment service for this kind of modules (and rightfully so). There are 3 ways to make the payment: 1. For people residing outside of Italy, the Tax Agency allows a SEPA transfer that must abide by various naming conventions. However, while one F24 can be used to pay all of your taxes (with different codes), this solution requires one trasfer per tax code, making it a burdensome solution even in normal cases. The real probllem however is that this is allowed ONLY to people residing outside of Italy. NOT for people residing in Italy with a foreign IBAN, as stated on their website [https://www.agenziaentrate.gov.it/portale/web/guest/schede/pagamenti/pagamento-delle-imposte-estero-mediante-bonifico/cosa-pagamento-imposte-estero-bonifico]. Given the nature of a Tax Agency, a wrong payment is usually a missed payment subjected to late fees and sactions. 2. The Agency offers a web service where you can fill out and pay online the F24 module. The payment is processed trough a Direct Debit (i'm assuming a SEPA Direct Debit) as stated on the service page [https://www.agenziaentrate.gov.it/portale/web/guest/schede/pagamenti/f24/compilazione-invio-f24-via-web]. The service is free. The service didn't accept my IBAN. 3. Line up by an italian bank or post office with your F24 module and pay the service fee aswell. Nr. 2 should be the best solution, being fast, free, country and account indipendent, and yet, by the end of the service iter, foreign IBANs are refused. Hilariously, I'm trying to pay the tax for on the possession of a foreing account...	Agenzia delle Entrate	Talking about tax payments, the Agency is not exactly fast on giving instructions and answers. Given the short time to comply and make payments, it's best practive more often than not just going on with a payment as soon as possible without incurring into sanctions and late fees than waiting in line to get answers.

8	Germany	ES	I applied for Housing allowance and was told they do not pay out on my spanish account. The complete explanation on the phone: "In case we overpayed, the spanish bank wont return the money." Since we are talking about the incredible amount of 20 EUR/month, with that statement given, they obviously assume I would never return it by myself. I just count it VERY DEVALUATING. 10	Germany	DE	I work for a Federal Agency. And another federal agency, the Bundesnetzagentur, does our travel expense reports. And I wanted them to transfer the money from my last business trip to my BUNQ account. I even gave them a sub-account with a German IBAN. But they say, it is not possible for them to add the BIC to their payment software.	Bundesnetzagentur	It's technically not possible for them to add BUNQ to their sofware.
11	Germany	GR	Commerzbank AG prohibits its customers to set and/or modify standing orders to another IBAN within SEPA (Greece) using online banking or the bank's phone app. The only option to set up or modify a standing order to another country is making an appointment and visiting a local branch, which is rather inconvenient (or not possible at times) and defeats the purpose of online banking, money management flexibility and digitalization in general. 12	Germany	LT	I can't pay my DHL-Packages or Deutsche Post Letters with direct debit via my Revolut account. Neither MasterCard (debit), direct debit nor direct debit via paypal works.	Deutsche Post / DHL	The payment process was canceled.

15	Germany	ES	Hello Dear Officer, I am frustrated and disappointed that my IBAN starting with ES was not accepted in KFC Nuremberg. I did not get the job because I could not provide a DE IBAN. The lady rejected my ES IBAN even when I told her that ES IBAN is also valid to get monthly salary in Germany. She rejected me verbally telling me that, they dont accept any IBAN except DE IBAN. I do not have any written proof as I did not even get the job. It seems to me, the law about accepting an EU IBAN in Germany is only in paper. Noone accepts it. I am sad. Now I have to open a DE Bank account with monthly fees, which I didnot want in the first place, without which I wont get any jobs here. Don't you think laws and rules should be known by all hotel and restaurants in Germany?	KFC Germany	No reason given. The lady just told me that, its not possible to get salary without a DE IBAN.
16	Germany	LT	The Lidl supermarket has just launched a new feature (Lidl Pay) in their Lidl Plus app that would allow it to pay directly at the cashier, while redeeming coupons at the same time. A brilliant idea right! Especially in these corona times we'd all like to minimize the amounts of touches needed in a store. As I am a fan of new banking solutions, I also love to use my Revolut bank account. But when i tried to sign up for Lidl Pay in their app, I immediately get a message saying my LT IBAN is not accepted. Only a German bank account is accepted for the SEPA mandate that they require. To me this makes no sense, at literally every other store or online store I can easily grant a SEPA mandate using my LT Revolut IBAN. There is no technical reason why this shouldn't work. Can you please help to make an end to these annoying, innovation stifling, practices?	Lidl	None, no response whatsoever.
17	Ireland	DE	Lufthansa needs to issue compensation due to flight delay according to EU261. When I provided them my IBAN, they rejected the payment to be processed with the reason that my address was in Ireland but IBAN is from Germany.	Lufthansa	my address was in Ireland but IBAN is from Germany.

23	Germany	BE	I've been trying to send money to the US from Postbank via TransferWise since early January 2023. Postbank claims the IBAN# is incorrect. However, TransferWise has confirmed to me that the IBAN# is correct. I have not yet received an answer to a request from the Postbank.	Postbank Berlin	Apparently the IBAN# is wrong. However, the bank (TransferWise) has confirmed to me that the IBAN# is correct.
24	Germany	NL	I wanted to change the account details our rent is paid from. After filling in the form and filing for changes in IBAN, we got a call from our housing company and they said they only accept German IBANs.	SAGA Hamburg	The reason was just that they only accept German IBANs even though I mentioned that it is legal for me to use it.
25	Germany	PT	Bought a phone with a plan from MediaMarkt and Saturn. Both options required a valid IBAN, to collect the monthly payments from. I tried with a PT IBAN, but it didn't "fit" into the field for IBAN (more characters than German IBANs). Then I tried with a Revolut (LT) IBAN. It also didn't work, the website kept saying he IBAN wasn't valid. As soon as I added my German IBAN, everything was fine and the purchase went through. Ulstbank so far having been able to set u direct debit for the loan I have with them, energia aren't sure if it will work and Vodafone said it can ony be done in store and a big checked in the local store they said they their system couldn't process the change and contacting Vodafone again they said try stores until I find one that works which seems like a joke considering they can't tell me which and if it was IE iban can be done over the phone, online etc	Vodafone	No response from ulsterbank, energia asked me to email them a filed out direct debit form and they will try, but don't believe it will work and Vodafone said it can only be done in store, but can't tell me which store
