Please fill in the form below to register for the Inclusive Dance Workshop on
September 21 from 6:30-7:30pm at the Chicago Cultural Center's Preston Bradley Hall in partnership with Momenta Dance Company and Chicago LIVE/Navy Pier.
The Inclusive Dance Workshop is a weekly Wednesday gathering of movers of all kinds. Each session, different facilitators and guest artists lead the group through an exploration of dancemaking tools, dance techniques, and improvisational exercises, from ballet to improvisation to voguing. All bodies, minds and experience levels are welcome.
This special session of the workshop will be held in person on Wednesday September 21 from 6:30-7:30pm at the Chicago Cultural Center's Preston Bradley Hall. The workshop will feature movement exploration, a brief sneak peak performance of the new community dance piece from the 2022 CounterBalance Inclusive Dance program, and a Q&A with the artists.
This workshop will have CART and ASL interpretation. Please note the workshop will take place indoors in a carpeted room. We ask that all dancers wear masks in solidarity with the community, but please note that the Chicago Cultural Center is a public building and there will likely be unmasked people outside of the immediate dance workshop space.
