Matthew Maulbeck

Matthew Maulbeck is a Partner at Eisner Advisory Group LLC, Managing Partner and Executive Committee member at EisnerAmper LLP. He is responsible for leading the practice as it transitions to becoming a technology-focused business unit. Matt has more than 20 years of auditing, technical accounting, and financial reporting experience with both public and private companies in the financial services, real estate, retail, and pharmaceutical industries. He also has substantial experience with SEC rules and regulations and reviewing SEC filings.

Matt was a Partner in the firm's Professional Practice Group prior to leading the Audit and Assurance practice and was, focused on the Financial Services audit practice which services over 1,500 private equity funds, hedge funds, venture capital funds and broker-dealer clients. He has expertise in technical accounting, auditing, operational and regulatory matters concerning private equity funds, hedge funds, venture capital funds, mutual funds, and broker-dealers.

Prior to joining the firm, Matt was a reviewer in the Division of Corporation Finance at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and at a Big 4 accounting firm. He has served on committees for the Center for Audit Quality, and is a frequent speaker, trainer and writer on technical accounting and auditing topics.
