Meet the Athlete

Luke grew up in Sebastopol in Northern CA. At a young age, he fell in love with 2 wheels on a dirt bike and that consumed his younger years taking after his dad riding and racing motocross. Later on, he started to train on a bicycle and knew immediately this was his passion. At the age of 10, he joined the local club, Team Swift. He won 8 National Championships before the age of 16. It was then he joined one of the top junior teams in the country, LUX Cycling. He enjoyed 2 years with them while getting used to racing in Europe with the USA Junior National team. He really enjoyed the racing style and roads in Europe and made the commitment to move full time and race in Europe with TRINITY Racing, a UK based team. He now lives in Giron, Spain racing the European calendar mostly focused on the spring one-day races. His first year out of juniors in 2021 was a success with a UCI stage win and USA Pro Crit National Title. He’s looking forward to what the future holds in cycling and hopefully a long time in the peloton!
