MOT X TRIPPAT

The Ministry of Tomorrow and Trippat have teamed up to create a one of a kind collection to be exclusively sold at Church Boutique in Los Angeles California.

100% of the proceeds from the sale of these bags will be donated to the Chema vision Children’s centers annual budget allowing for over 300 of Kiberas most vulnerable children to gain access to quality education and nutritious meals.

This collection of psychedelic embroidery on eco-friendly vegan leather is vibrant and expressive, incorporating intricate patterns and vivid colors. Each embroidery is meticulously hand-stitched by Italy’s Trippat, showcasing their expertise and creativity. The designs draw inspiration from nature, local traditions, and global artistic influences, resulting in visually stunning and one-of-a-kind pieces.

This collection reflects a conscious choice towards supporting local communities, promoting sustainability, and embracing cultural diversity. By purchasing these bags, individuals can make a personal statement about their values and contribute to a positive change in the world of fashion.

ART FOR EDUCATION

1—16 JUNE 2021

Eco-fashion house Ministry of Tomorrow and LA’s premiere avant-garde retail outlet, Church Boutique have teamed up with Christie's and Charitybuzz to produce “Art for Education". This is the inaugural fundraising event in the form of an online art auction to raise funds to cover Chema’s annual operating budget for 155 students ages 2.5- 14.

The school is located in the midst of Kibera, Africa’s largest urban slum. Chema provides quality education for some of Kibera’s most vulnerable children (orphans and children of single mothers without funds for school fees).

Iconic superstars have joined the humanitarian cause. The celebrities will personally design and donate a MOT 100% organic cotton canvas tote to the auction. The handmade vegan canvas totes are produced at MOT's factory in Nairobi, located just minutes from the Chema school.

Our goal is to raise $100k to cover Chema’s operating expenses for one year that also includes a nutritious daily meal for 155 students.

“Chema is a Swahili word meaning something good. Our goal is to educate and feed as many children in the slums because we want something good for the children of Kibera.
