College Football, Basketball, MLB and Golf Play-by-Play Commentator

Dave Flemming joined ESPN as a play-by-play commentator for college basketball in 2010. In addition, he has since become a regular voice on the network’s baseball and football coverage. He currently calls Saturday college football coverage on ABC and ESPN with analyst Brock Osweiler and reporter Kayla Burton.

Flemming’s play-by-play duties for ESPN have grown to include baseball as well. He has called televised Major League Baseball games for the network since 2014, including Monday Night Baseball. Each year, he calls MLB playoff games on ESPN Radio. He has also been involved with Little League World Series coverage since 2013.

Flemming also lends his announcing talents to ESPN’s live coverage of golf majors.

In addition to his ESPN responsibilities, Flemming serves as the on-air voice for the San Francisco Giants on KNBR-AM radio broadcasts and select games on television. During his time there he has received three Northern California Emmys for his play-by-play commentary. In 2008, Flemming was also named the best of the new generation of baseball announcers by the Sports Business Journal.

Flemming handled the radio play-by-play duties for Stanford football for six seasons and has served as a substitute announcer on Golden State Warriors radio broadcasts.

The Alexandria, Va. native, who resides in San Francisco, received bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Stanford, and a master’s degree in broadcast journalism from Syracuse University.
