April is closing out with a ton of great new music. Future is back with his latest album, I Never Liked You, featuring a standout collaboration with Drake called “I’m On One.” Lil Baby surprised fans with a new single called “Frozen,” and Giveon returned with new heartfelt single “Lie Again.” This week’s list also includes new songs from Kehlani, Internet Money, Yeat, Justin Bieber, Action Bronson, and more.

Future f/ Drake, “I’m On One”

Future and Drake have joined forces once again on “I’m On One.” Over a slick trap beat, courtesy of Torey Montana, Future and Drake rip through verses, rapping about their love for drugs, women, and wealth. “Finessin’ is a sport, caught me a yellow one like Fabolous/ Four-twenty-five, two stone, check the clarity,” Future spits. On the second verse, Drake steers clear of the drug metaphors, primarily focusing on women, while also dropping soccer references. “Take her to see Cristiano, fuck her in that Benz Viano/ Champions League shit, there’ll be a driver for you on arrival,” he raps. “I’m On One” is one of two collabs the duo have on Future’s latest album I Never Like You.

Lil Baby, “Frozen”

On his surprise track, “Frozen,” Lil Baby delivers bar-heavy verses over a soft beat anchored in piano keys, rapping about his come-up, money, and his opps. “Started from the bottom, how the fuck I’m up here?/ If you really camе from nothin’, then you know how that feel/ Ain’t no extras, only steppеrs, that’s the way that I live,” he raps. “Frozen” arrives shortly after Lil Baby hopped on Ed Sheeran’s “2Step.”

Giveon, “Lie Again”

“Lie Again” is a short, sentimental record that finds Giveon crooning about a former lover. He shows his strength in vocals as he asks his partner to lie to him about past indiscretions. “Am I insеcure, ‘cause it’s too much/ Hate to think you’vе done this before/ Don’t tell me, baby, I’ve heard enough/ I’ve told you I don’t want the truth/ So just lie so sweet, until I believe,” he sings. A snippet of “Lie Again” was originally leaked on April 15, but the song is expected to appear on Giveon’s forthcoming album. 

Kehlani, “Everything”

“Everything” is a gentle track that finds a mesmerized Kehlani gushing over a woman’s physical features, love, and tenderness. “I love the way you tеach me/ Love the way you listеn/ You know all my details/ You so damn attentive/ You got my attention, babe,” she sings with raspy and sultry vocals. Using repetition, she iterates that this person is “the everything for me.” “Everything” appears on Kehlani’s latest album, blue water road.

Internet Money f/ Yeat, “No Handoutz”

“No Handoutz” is a high-energy song with a sinister and cloudy tone that unites Internet Money with Yeat. On the track, Yeat is both aggressive and cocky as he delivers his own vocabulary with anecdotes about robberies and other lethal activity. “Yeah, I got bags sitting on top of the bags, boy, that’s a Virgil piece/ Yeah, give my twizzy a hundon, got buddy murdered for me,” he spits. Yeat’s signature bells and whistles also make it onto “No Handoutz,” which draws stylistic similarities to his 2021 single “Twizzy Rich.” 

Justin Bieber f/ Don Toliver, “Honest”

“Honest” is a hypnotic collaboration between Justin Bieber and Don Toliver, that comes alongside a Cole Bennett-directed Lyrical Lemonade video. First, Bieber kicks things off with soft but slick vocals as he romanticizes his partner. “I tried to get away, but it’s boring/ You’re my safe haven, I need it all alone/ And you’re my dime piece and I can’t take less than one,” he rap-sings. Don Toliver slides on the uptempo beat, singing, “Hey, Justin B/ I know you don’t do this often, but this here sneak and geek/ Fuck that McLaren, I’m ridin’ the Jeep.” 

Action Bronson, “Ninety One”

“Ninety One” is a smooth track with a soulful sample that finds Action Bronson laying down braggadocious bars, witty references, and more. “Every ocean is my fucking swimming pool/ If this wave’s breaking on the shore, I’m swinging through,” he raps over Mono En Stereo’s production. “Ninety One” appears on Action Bronson’s new album, Cocodrillo Turbo

Toro Y Moi, “Goes By So Fast”

“Goes By So Fast” is a smooth, retro-sounding track from Toro Y Moi. On the song, which is also produced by the artist himself, Toro reminisces on a past life. “Is it true, there’s a past life where I met you?/ Faded blues turn to pastels like a tattoo/ Books to prove you were raised right, educated,” he sings. The track is broken up by several horn instrumental solos, before softly dissolving into silence. “Goes By So Fast” appears on Toro Y Moi’s new project, MAHAL

Bobby Shmurda, “They Don’t Know”

Bobby Shmurda is back with his first single after leaving Epic Records. “They Don’t Know” is an energetic song with a sinister beat. On the track, Bobby delivers dizzying bars about lethal activity. “I keep a Glock and I’ma beat a bitch before I need a bitch that call the cops/ And I never snitch/ I push the pedal, bitch, before I’m not,” he spits, followed by whispered ad-libs. Bobby Shmurda is expected to be gearing up for an album, set to be released sometime this year. 

Lil Tjay, “Going Up”

“Going Up” is a triumphant track that finds Brooklyn’s Lil Tjay delivering Auto-Tuned vocals about his come-up, putting on for his city, and beating his enemies. “I was real from the start, still kinda hard, no love for informers/ Been a real nigga, still a real nigga, they still think I’m a performer,” he raps over Chopsquad DJ production. “Going Up” is the latest single from Lil Tjay’s EP Strictly4MyFans.  

IDK f/ Denzel Curry, “Dog Food”

“Dog Food” is an uptempo track that finds DMV’s IDK collaborating with Carol City’s Denzel Curry. IDK delivers controlled flows over Kaytranada production as he touches on police activity and drug use, rapping, “They tried to frisk me, want me/ Incarcerated, I won’t be/ I run to hit the corner/ I’m headed for the border.” Denzel Curry  the energy as he charismatically raps about similar topics, spitting, “I seen a lot of brothers get popped, we pourin’ Hennessy/ And God forbid a nigga get locked, ‘cause it ain’t ten of me.”

Reuben Vincent, “Butterfly Doors”

“Butterfly Doors” is the latest single from North Carolina rapper, Reuben Vincent, who happens to be 9th Wonder and Guru’s new protégé. On the track, Vincent delivers slick food-for-thought gems over classic instrumentals anchored in horns. “They say we the new slaves/ Not as bad a Ye though/ I been on a new wave/ Drill like niggas in the UK/ Yo these niggas really soft/ Sweeter than some Kool-Aid/ Also they be two-faced,” he spits. “Butterfly Doors” comes on the heels of Vincent’s freestyles to Kendrick Lamar’s “HiiiPower,” and JAY Z’s “Picasso Baby.” 

Tanna Leone, “Fatal Attraction”

Tanna Leonne, PgLang’s newest signee, has arrived with his first official project under Kendrick Lamar and Dave Free’s company. “Fatal Attraction” is a catchy track that finds the LA-based rapper touching on a lethal connection between him and another. “I’m here to survive, I’m truly alive, I’m really a man for the people/ Looked in his eyes and I could just tell that he was not born as my equal/ Girl by his side, she picked up the vibe, and now she tuned in for the sequel/ Riders outside, there’s no need to hide, the fatal attraction is lethal,” he raps with melodic flows. “Fatal Attraction” appears on Tanna Leone’s new project Sleepy Soldier.
