Shaun Kama was born in Heidelberg, Germany to two parents who served during the Vietnam War. His father is a Native Hawaiian and his mother is of Native American & European descent. At age 19, he moved to Los Angeles and began his tattoo apprenticeship under world-renowned artist, Mark Mahoney at the original Shamrock Studios in the early 90’s.Shaun has been tattooing professionally for over 25 years. His passion for creating art that blends themes of fantasy, horror, and humor has led to his reputation as “The King of Halloween Tattoos”. Shaun’s work is bright as well as dark and edgy, with incredible detail and vibrant color. He is a regular on the horror, comic, and tattoo convention circuit, traveling all over the USA. His home base is in Las Vegas, NV.An avid painter and illustrator, Shaun frequently creates commissioned original artworks for his clients. He also has two coloring books, "Cemetery Picnic" and "Spooky Treats", and a Day/Night Journal, all published by Blood Bound Books in bookstores now.

Hey, I’m a tattoo artist from Las Vegas. I’ve been tattooing for 13 years I really enjoy doing vibrant color, tattoos and dark black and gray work. I’m really excited to work at the Punk Rock Museum I was introduced to punk music when I started tattooing and it helped shape my career! So cool that now to be able to do tattoos here!

From Hawaii now in Las Vegas,Started working at a record store as a teenager before tattooing and now Tattooing 20 years this past April.
