THE POSITION

The Department of Agriculture, Pennsylvania Farm Show & Expo Center, is looking for a temporary, full-time Tradesman Helper (9-month position).

As a part of our team, you will assist in the operation and maintenance of the 24-acre, one-of-a-kind Pennsylvania Farm Show & Expo Center building in Harrisburg. If you have experience in the trades and enjoy hands-on work, apply today!

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

The individual occupying this position will be responsible for completing a wide variety of semi-skilled and unskilled tasks while assisting our journeyman craftsman engaged in the construction, electrical, building maintenance, utility plant or allied trades.

WORK SCHEDULE:
Temporary, full-time: 40 hours/week (9 months)
1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM; Wednesday - Sunday
In order to maintain 24/7 operational needs, hours may be increased, shift hours may change, and overtime work may be required.
This position is considered essential and you will be required to report to work during emergencies and office closings.
